A Missionary Thanksgiving in Russia

                                                           Thanksgiving in Krasnodar

After searching the city a nice turkey was found and cooked to perfection; at least we think it was a turkey. Thank goodness one was found so we didn’t have to eat some of the plump pigeons that strut their stuff around town.

Missionaries from Sochi, Taupse, Novorossiysk and Krasnodar had a wonderful thanksgiving dinner at Elder and Sister Patterson’s home away from home After consuming mashed potatoes and gravy, fruit salad, bean salad, homemade rolls, dressing and brown sugar carrots the elders ate their fill of five different kinds of pie.

The elders enjoyed visiting with each other and a highlight was a Skype call from the mission home with a rousing serenade.
