Sister Octabrina - our Russian Grandma

Sister Octabrina was born in 1930 in Siberia. When she was 8 years old her father and brother were shot by the government because they wouldn't sign a paper saying they supported the communist government. Her brother was a teacher. She went to work at 8 years old to help support the family. She and her husband were geologists. (the only picture she had of him was a wallet size, so we made her an 8X10 and framed it for her. Paulette made her a new table cloth that she wanted.
She was baptized 8 years ago when she was 72.
