On Sunday, May 23rd I had the privilege of confiring the Melchikedek Priesthood on Volovodov Igor Alexsanravich and ordaining him an Elder and bestowing a blessing on him. Igor has been a member for one year. He is 27 years old and a very sharp young man. He comes to our home on Monday nights to our Familly Home Evening and seems to enjoy being here.
"The Lord will increase our knowledge, wisdom, and capacity to obey when we obey His fundamental laws. This is what the Prophet Joseph Smith meant when he said we could have 'sudden strokes of ideas' which come into our minds as 'pure intelligence.' We must learn to rely on the Holy Ghost so we can use it to guide our lives and the lives of those for whom we have responsibility. (Ezra Taft Benson)
