A typical Russian wedding is an all-day affair. There is no formal
ceremony; the bride and groom sign papers at the government
building. The wedding party decorate their cars, and they drive around
town honking their horns. They drive to different picture sites and capture
the days events. At night they party on and set off fireworks. The dresses
and flowers are quite elaborate.
Elder Patterson crashed this wedding in Tuapse, And the family thought he
was from the "other side" since he was up front taking pictures. The letting
go of the whitedoves was part of the festivities.
