We spend a lot of time on trains. The clickety clack of the wheels on the tracks can be quite mesmerizing.
One evening we passed several train crossing arms as the train passed through some towns along
it's route. It reminded us of a favorite "blonde moment" story as told by our daughter, Kristy, while
she was serving her mission in England. We can't resist sharing it with you all too!
Kristy was riding on a train and saw some people waiting for a train. She looked out the window and said to her companion, "Look, there's some people waiting for a train. I wonder where the train is?" Her companion gave her a surprised look and said, " Sister Patterson, YOU ARE ON the train they are waiting for! "
Sister Patterson couldn't resist taking a picture of a train crossing to send to Kristy. It took her about 10 tries before a good picture was obtained. So, here's to you, Kristy! Where's the train?!
I also love the mesmerizing rock and clickity-clack of the wheels. It reminds me of Japan.
